This works for the throw-aways of celery, romaine lettuce and green onions. When you cut the bottoms off the veggies, don’t throw them away. Put them in a cup of water and place in your window sill. Be sure to change the water daily, or every other day. It works. This pic with two cups is the lettuce at two weeks and the green onions after just a few days. Give it a try!
