Granny Sqaure = Chain 4, slip stitch into the first stitch making a round. Chain 3, double crochet into the center of the round 2x making 3 total into middle. Chain 2, double crochet 3 into middle again (repeat 2x). At the end of the last (making 4 total), chain 2, slip stitch into top of the first chain making a square. Chain 3, turn the square around in your hand. Double crochet into hole 2x, chain 1, double crochet into next hole 3. Make sure at the end of each side to chain 2 and then double crochet into the same hole to move to the other edge. Repeat until desired length. When you want the fuzzy yarn, just combine it the existing yarn to maintain the thickness.

All granny squares, changing colors when desired at the end of a round. Then washed in detergent and lots of fabric softener to make super soft for baby. My co-worker doesn’t know what she is having yet, so I thought green would be a cool neutral color.
