Upon making Lean & Green meals, I found that every once in a while I was forgetting to include the Healthy Fats. The Quick Start Guide even referred to the Healthy Fats as 0-2 servings a day. So, I thought it was okay to skip them. But, somehow I felt I still needed them. So I wrote the Dietetic Technician at TSFL and asked and this is what she had to say.
“The healthy fats are required to promote healthy functioning of the gall bladder. Please do not skip them. Health fats are also necessary to transport the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Even if you do not have a gall bladder the healthy fats are important.”
So, make sure to always include your Healthy Fats with every Lean & Green meal.
