wpid-IMG_20130422_130313.jpgWhen I was living in Wisconsin, the heat went out for a short time. I had a California King bed at that time and didn’t own a heavy blanket. So I quickly whipped this up. It is made to cover the bed all the way down the sides and to the floor. However, once I left Wisconsin, I no longer had a use for it. So, because of the weight of it, it became a rug.

Directions;

Using any scrap yarn you have, crochet squares of any size. When you crochet, make sure you are crocheting two strings of yarn at the same time. This makes it super thick. I used a double crochet 20 stitches by 10 rows each square. When all squares are done, or as you complete each, as you wish, sew them together with a yarn needle.
