Medifast Meals Alfredo Pizza July 14, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130701_040557.jpgWhen they discontinued the cream of tomato soup, I had to do something to continue eating pizza. So I ordered some cream of chicken soup and tried the same thing and it turned out great!

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Meals Cream of Chicken Soup mix
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
3 tablespoons Water
2 tablespoons Walden Farms Alfredo Sauce
2 tablespoons Parmeasan Cheese
Parchment Paper

Directions;

Mix the soup and baking powder well. Add the water and mix. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Pour mixture onto parchment paper and cook 7 minutes. Pull out of oven and spread the alfredo sauce then top with the cheese. Bake 6 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy!

Medifast Meals Tuna Sandwich June 23, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130608_030309.jpgLooking for ways to enhance the dry bread, this works.

Ingredients;

1/2 Medifast Meals Bread recipe
2 ounces Tuna, canned, drained

Directions;

Make the bread and use half the recipe to slice into making this sandwich. I make mine into a pita basically and add tuna and cut in half.

Medifast Meals Cucumber Sandwiches June 20, 2013

Ingredients;

1/2 Medifast Meals Bread recipe
1/2 cup Cucumber slices

Directions;

Make the bread recipe and use half the bread to make this sandwich. Cut it up to smaller sandwiches. Very Good!

Medifast Meals Bread June 13, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130603_011511.jpgI ran across this recipe and found it to be a delightful change. It is a bit dry, but good.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Meals Eggs mix
1 Medifast Meals Cream of Broccoli Soup mix
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Flax Seed, ground
1/4 cup Water
Parchment Paper

Directions;

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix everything in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Pour mixture in one pile on the paper. Should be round. Bake for 6 minutes. Turn oven up to broil and watch the top turn brown. Cool.

Medifast Meals Mediterranean Flatbread May 20, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130429_071040.jpgAfter making the tomato flatbread, I decided to make a cool sandwich.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Meal Cream of Tomato Soup
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Curry Powder
2 tablespoons Water
Parchment Paper
1 ounce Low-Fat Feta Cheese, small crumbles are best

Directions;

Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. In a bowl, mix the ingredients well. (except the cheese) Pour onto parchment paper and spread around with a scraper into a circle. Bake 6 minutes. Mine stuck to the paper just a tad, so I used a spatula to get it off in one piece. Place cheese in half and fold in half and fry in a frying pan with no oil. Very good!

Medifast Meals Tuna Helper April 28, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130325_031314.jpgSometimes I don’t use all my Lean at my Lean & Green meal. I figured out a way to use some later.

Ingredients;
1 Medifast Meal Mac n’ Cheese
1 ounce Canned Tuna (drained)

Directions;

Mix mac n’ cheese as directed. Mix tuna into mac n’ cheese. Microwave 45 seconds more. Let cool for about 5 minutes as it will thicken and simply is just to hot to eat yet. Enjoy!

Medifast Meals Tomato Flatbread April 27, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130325_183307.jpgThis, made up is okay by itself but better when made into something else. Use your imagination, pizza, gyro, or a wrap. The possibilities are endless. This can be made with any creamed soup.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Meal Cream of Tomato Soup
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 tablespoons Water
Parchment Paper

Directions;

Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. In a bowl, mix the ingredients well. Pour onto parchment paper and spread around with a scraper into a circle, or whatever shape you like. Bake 6 minutes. Mine stuck to the paper just a tad, so I used a spatula to get it off in one piece.

Medifast Meals Flatbread Pizza April 25, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130325_183958.jpgI had no idea I missed pizza until I gave this a try. But, funny enough, This truly hit the spot.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Meal Cream of Tomato Soup
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 tablespoons Water
Parchment Paper
2 tablespoons Spaghetti Sauce
1 ounce Low-Fat Cheese (your choice)

Directions;

Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. In a bowl, mix the ingredients well. Pour onto parchment paper and spread around with a scraper into a circle. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and top with sauce and cheese. Bake another 5 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a plate. Cut with a pizza slicer and eat in small bites.

Medifast Meals Tortilla Soup April 10, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130318_221759.jpgVariety, variety, variety. I just needed some and this is great when you have a cold.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Cream of Tomato Soup mix
1 Medifast Chili mix
1 teaspoon Cumin
2 1/4 cups Water

Directions;

Mix everything into a medium pot with a whisk. Bring to a boil. Watch out, it may boil over. Before it does, turn the heat to low. Cook on low for 15 minutes whisking occasionally. Divide into two bowls. Have one now and save  one for later. You may even like a bit of cheese or sour cream on top. If you do, remember to count it into your lean or condiments.

Medifast Meals Baked BBQ Casserole April 9, 2013

wpid-IMG_20130318_221426.jpgI really like the BBQ Bites, but find that they dry out my mouth real bad. I also sometimes get tired of eating them as there are so many in one package. So I figured this recipe out.

Ingredients;

1 Medifast Vegetarian Sloppy Joe mix
1 Medifast BBQ Bites package
1 teaspoon BBQ Sauce

Directions;

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Make sloppy joes as directed. Divide the bites equally into to oven safe dishes. If you like, you can break them up a bit. Once the sloppy joes is done cooking, divide it equally into the two dishes as well. Place 1/2 teaspoon in to each dish and mix well. Bake for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
